At Surftrip, we have been in the surfing industry for over 5 years. 30 years of surfing. I started as a small surf business in Scarborough and have since expanded to become a level 2 isa qualified surf instructor with a small workshop and a small shop. I can supply most surfing equipment at a cheaper price than most ask me for prices on anything and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Hire / Price List
Surf Boards
We have a large collection of boards from longboards to performance short boards and fun foamies of all sizes. We also have a huge selection of wetsuits for hire. Photo ID and proof of address required and a fully refundable 100 pound deposit on all hires. We are perfectly positioned for south going north and north going south just off the M6 at Bamber Bridge. A short safety brief will be given on hiring equipment. Also check out my youtube channel for basic information and advice .
8ft TwoBareFeet foam board in blue
25 per day 125 per week
8ft TwoBareFeet foam board with fins and leash in blue. These are great boards for beginner to intermediate surfers due to there great volume and manoeuvrability in the water. Some of our boards have gopro mounts fitted. For an extra couple of pounds per day a board bag can be supplied.

Paddleboards ( inflatable )

A large collection of paddleboards for hire all come in a carry bag with fins, leash, paddle and pump. These are also supplied with life jackets as standard. These are easy to transport and easy to use. Great for lakes and inshore sea use.
Sit on top Kayak
25 per day 125 per week
Sit on top Kayak perfect for beginners to advanced Kayakers. Easy to learn on and safe to use. These are supplied with paddles and life jackets as standard.
epoxy, fibreglass and plastic Longboards
30 per day or 150 per week
Most of our longboards come with gopro mounts and travel bags for protection all boards come with fins and leashes. Solid boards are only for surfers who can catch own waves and turn left or right must have basic knowledge of surf and safety.

inflatable body boards
5 per day or 25 per week
These boards are better than the solid boards in my opinion. Easier to transport , easier to catch waves. These come with leashes for your wrist.
short foam boards
20 per day 100 per week
We have foam boards from 6ft up to 7ft for either smaller people or surfers who like dumpy shore break but don't want the extra shrapnel in the wave.
soft travel surfboard racks
10 per day 50 per week
These soft racks will fit 90 percent of cars and can fit up to 4 boards. We use these for surf trips abroad so they are well tested. These are limited but if given a couple of days warning can be brought back from the east coast for hire.
wetsuit equipment hire
All wetsuit equipment from wetsuits, boots, gloves, hoods all sizes and shapes available. Also available are some action cameras for hire but are limited and are on first come , first served basis. Most are gopro but also have some other makes available.
Summer or mid season wetsuits
8 per day 40 per week
These suits are either 3/2 or 4/3 well looked after if not new
These are winter/summer suits. All rounders
10 per day 50 per week
These suits are 5/4 winter suits
extreme winter suits 6/5/4 or 6/5 or 5/4 with built in hood
15 per day 75 per week
These suits will keep you warm in pretty much any waters. Most are front zip.
Kids wetsuits
4 per day 20 per week
Why buy kids wetsuits when in 12 months time they will have grown out of them after only wearing them twice when you can hire for a couple of pounds a day. We have a large collection of children's wetsuits from age 2-3 up to 16 plus and most sizes in between.
Boots, gloves and hoods
3 per day 15 per week
These are only needed if the water temperature is below 10 degrees unless you like being to warm. Maybe boots but the hoods and the gloves are gone this time of the year unless you want them. The customer is always right .
wetsuits can be ordered online for hire and delivered at an extra cost to the hirer

Intermediate to Advanced block lessons
Limited out of hours lessons
£260 4 x lessons
These sessions are not for beginners so must be able to catch own waves turn left and right and have good knowledge of surf equipment and etiquette. Video analysis and more advanced warmups also includes homework if required. First session will be observation and feedback. If required, we have an extensive collection of surfboards to pick from. With these block bookings It will sometimes be better to use 2 lessons in one session especially if the conditions are right

Advanced session
£200
This is the ultimate lesson including initial assessments and video analysis done at your local break or in Blackpool/Fleetwood. Can also be an online assessment with video footage supplied by yourself from a third party (not gopro footage) Followed with a full session at whichever break has the best conditions for your ability. This is then followed up with more feedback and video analysis. I use north Wales or the east coast. I will travel at extra cost. Use of our surfboards is no problem
UK custom surf trips now available
Full itinerary on request with your available dates this trip is an intense two day trip to wherever the best surf for your ability is and the beauty of this trip is we are fully mobile and can move so might not just be one spot we could surf a few spots to follow the the best waves. Its the best way to guarantee the best waves. If one spot decides to go onshore we just move to a different spot. Its the surf way.
Group surf lessons Blackpool/Fleetwood

Conditions allowing. All equipment supplied only groups 8 people max. The conditions will be known two days before. If there are no waves paddle boards will be used as long as the wind allows. This will be half an hour on the beach instruction and warm up and at least an hour in the water. We would organise a meeting place two days before when conditions are known. Family surf lessons
£125 ea
Can be up to 6 people all equipment supplied. Come and have some fun in the waves as a family coached by a fully qualified isa trained surf instructor and feel safe as also qualified surf life saver. Everything will be the same as a normal surf lesson, this is usually half an hour on the beach, after getting suited up and being assigned your equipment, being taught the correct method to stand and ride waves, safety and venue safety brief.
Adult watersport session
Same price set up as the group surf sessions if less people please contact us
This is the best option for a guaranteed session in the water if there are waves, we surf if not paddleboards and soon kayaks.

Paddle board lessons in the lake district
£60.00 ea minimum 2 people
This would be held at Coniston Lake the meeting place would be organised and forwarded on booking. All equipment supplied. This would involve two sessions in the water and training on the banking before entering the water. Would be half hour safety and method then one hour in the shallow basic training i.e. movement, turns, balance, power paddling etc. A quick break water, food etc. Then another hour in the water either following the banking or going deep water depending on ability.
Paddle board tours lake district
£100.00 ea
Everything in the lessons but snacks and drinks supplied. Also the second session would be at least two hours long with a break along the banking for drinks and snacks. This would take most of the day a great day out for a family or group and again a lot more intimate as group would be limited to four or five people. Fully qualified and insured paddlesport instructor with over Four year's experience in coaching.

This is for paddlesport lessons :- SUP lessons, canoe or Kayak lessons. Contact me to see about availability as the bulk of my work is through Dexter's surf shop. These will only be available out of shop hours. Could also be anywhere depending on my availability.
First surf trips to Lanzarote are here starting in January 2024

If you are travelling up from the south going north or down from the north travelling south hire everything you need for water activities here in Farington just off the M6. Cheap and easy for one day, week or longer.
